Guitar lessons are always custom tailored to the individual needs of the student. Everybody from beginner to Segovia is welcome. Typical topics are technique, harmony, scales and improvising but I’m always open for “just jamming” or “digging music”. I’m also open to all the genres. I come from rock and blues background from which I’ve expanded to country, jazz and fingerstyle. Over the years I’ve played all sorts of music from Finnish schlager to free improvising so I do have perspective to fill the various needs of different students.
I’ve been playing professionally since 1999 and teaching since 2004. I graduated from Joensuu Conservatory in 2005 and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in 2012. For year and half I attended the world famous Berklee College of Music where I got to learn from masters such as Mick Goodrick, Jon Damian, David Tronzo and Guy Van Duser.
Lessons are available at Kaapelitehdas (Ruoholahti, Helsinki), Ikkala (near Karkkila) and online via Zoom.
